Description

Just in time for winter, this 2004 Ford F-250 4x4 is ready to handle anything nature has in store for it. With only 112,000 miles, it's barely broken in as Superduties go. Mechanically this truck is perfect. It starts and runs easily, and every system works as it should. 4wd and 4wd low both engage smoothly and easily, and there are no unusual knocks ticks or rattles coming from the 6.8L V10 engine. According to the previous owner, the transmission was replaced roughly 2 years ago, and the exhaust studs have already been taken care of. I can't personally verify those claims, but I can confidently say that this truck shifts as it should and the exhaust is very quiet. We also checked the underside of the truck for any leaks or seepage, and there are none to be found, everything has been mechanically well maintained on this truck.

Being a 12 year old New York truck, the body is the the low point here. There is some rust in the typical truck spots, over the rear wheel quarters, under the doors, and on the tailgate, along with a few small spots on the body. There is also a dent in the box, in the rear driver's quarter. If you're looking for a show truck, this is not the truck for you. The body is not perfect, and we've priced it accordingly. That said, the paint is otherwise in very good shape, the running boards are solid, and all of the lights work as they should. The chrome bumpers and wheels give this truck some real pop, and it has some serious presence driving down the road. The underside of the truck has some surface rust as expected, but is overall very solid. The tires have great tread, and the brakes feel very strong.

The interior of this truck is overall average for a truck of this age and mileage. Everything works, from the cup holders to the arm rest to the electronics, lights, and glove box. There are a few stains on the floor in the rear carpet, and what looks like a few small burns on the front seats. Otherwise, everything appears to be in good working condition, the headliner is solid and is not sagging, the door panels are solid and well secured, and the windows all work. A brake controller has been installed and the rear of the truck features both 7 and 4 pin trailer connections if you'd like to tow. This truck is ready to handle whatever its next owner has to throw at it, from towing to plowing to handling any weather in its way, this mechanically perfect truck needs nothing but a new owner.
